Godley has a life story that could fill a year's worth of Take A Break
magazines. In brief: her mother was murdered, her father was an alcoholic,
she was run over, abused and then topped it all by marrying a gangster's
son. Today, aged 45, she is a brilliantly funny stand-up comic and playwright
who Boothby Graffoe describes as "mad as biscuits". The best bit of her online home is her blog, which, as befits a woman straddling showbusiness and domesticity finds her in the company of George Clooney one moment and shaving her ("as hairy as a Brazilian footballer") legs the next. Then there's the small issue of her daughter being "secretly a pirate" |
